So Jesus told a parable to his disciple to encourage them to "always pray and not give up."   A widow kept coming to a judge for help. She pleaded, "Grant me justice from my adversary." The judge did not fear God nor care for justice. But after her constant requests he finally decided to oblige "so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!"
